I’ve seen this here and there about Hydronic Gardens… and ummmmm…. I’m not impressed.
The conspiracy theorist in me is coming out again lol. Hydroponic gardening is basically gardening without soil.
You just sit a seed in water and tend to it from there. No soil needed.
Does nobody see a problem with that?
Plants that grow without…. dirt.
Dirt…. dust…. you know…. what God created mankind out of?
It’s just like the whole craze with seedless produce, and I used to LOVE seedless grapes. But it’s been almost a year since I had any when I realized that God created everything to reproduce.
It’s made me a lot more careful about what I put in my body.
I’m never disappointed at how the world continues to make even just our food more and more soulless.
Honestly, it may not be a terrible thing. But God clearly gave us dirt to use in order to garden and grow food.
And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.Genesis 2:5
You could argue this stuff is good for the environment, and maybe you might have a point.
But I still choose God’s natural order of things and…. this seems a little unnatural.
I’ll stick with soil.
Love you. Mean it!
